Welcome to the Its My Life- from disabillity to indepen store:
Welcome to our store. We will continue to have a variety of items to sell. Some are made by our special needs individuals and some by friends and supporters of our group. A few of our special needs individuals have enough items that may lead to self employment. Others will help the group to participate in activities in the community to better learn socialization, money skills and appropriate behavior in public places.
Our members vary in their abilities but most are mentally challenged, some with Down syndrome and some with other challenges.
We have a yahoo group where you can follow our activities if you wish.We welcome all and especially would like those with special needs to feel welcome and share their triumphs and challenges.
