Welcome to the Project Comfort store:
I started Project Comfort when I learned about the Prayer Shawl Ministry. About the same time, I learned of a woman diagnosed with cancer, someone close to my age, and it made me realize how fast things can change in our lives.
Half of the proceeds from the sell of any comfort shawls go back into Project Comfort so that shawls can be made and donated to anyone undergoing a difficult time in their life such as chemotherapy, dialysis, or grieving of a passed loved one. Many choose to have the shawls blessed by their pastor or priest before giving it to the recipient. My crocheted shawls may have slight imperfections, but these should not be anything you notice.
Items are from a smoke-free and pet-free home. If you have any allergies to yarn materials such as silk, alpaca, wool, etc. please let me know and I can choose a yarn made without any of these materials.

Shipping Information
Shipping within 2 weeks for most items, sometimes quicker, sometimes longer depending on the item. I do my best not to take longer than 3 weeks to make and ship. All items are made custom upon order.
I package the shawls in tissue and in a sealed bag for protection during shipping. My shipping cost includes the cost of the tissue and bag and any weight they may add to the shipping cost.
Returns Policy
If you are not happy with an item once you have received it, I will gladly refund the cost of the item less the shipping cost once it has been returned.
If your item has been damaged during shipping, please contact me via email within 45 days of your order's placement along with a photograph of the damaged item. Unfortunately, I cannot pay your return shipping or refund the original shipping cost. Please feel free to return the item using the least expensive shipping method available to you. I ask that you e-mail me before you return your item, and your money will be refunded once I have received the item.
