Welcome to the laken&lila store:
ahhhh... laken&lila. I started sewing at a very young age 6 or 7 Of course at that age, I already knew I loved sewing, arts, and crafts. It was not until high school when I had the opportunity to take my first sewing class. Oh it was great.. I made skirts and dresses and tops - oh my. I was in heaven.
I'm a a mother of a little boy (2 and a half to be exact!) I love being a stay at home mom but I needed to find a outlet for my sewing and creativity... so I guess this is where laken&lila was born.
Of course I had to name this idea after my son (Laken). Now you say where does the name lila come from? Hopefully one day if the fates allow I will have a little girl just like me and her name will be Lila.
Laken's name came from one of my favorite places named Chautauqua Lake. Luckily, my studio is located there just steps away from the lake.

Shipping Information
USPS shipment within 3 business days after payment is received for in-stock items. 1-2 week wait for customized, custom or special orders. I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items once the package leaves my shop. All shipments do come with a delivery confirmation.

I want you to be as happy as I was creating your item. Please contact me within 2 days of receiving your item if there is a problem. laken&lila is handmade and designed - we trust you will understand our slight irregularities, as they are not considered a reason for dissatisfaction. We are confident you will be estatic with your laken&lila purchase. But if you are unsatisfied please let us know and we will happily address your concern.

If you like an item.. order it. Our designs, creations and fabrics sell out quickly. We only make a few items with each fabric to guarantee a unique clothing experience. All items come with boutique label, and hang tag.
Sizing as follows (but remember to check each individual listing for length, etc.)
My skirt sizes are as follows (approx.) Waists are elastic so measurements are unstretched:
6-12 months
12-18 months
18-24 months
XS (2/3T) 19-20 inch waist, 9 inch length
S (3/4T) 20-21 inch waist, 10 inch length
M (4/5T) 21-22 inch waist, 11 inch length
L (5/6T) 22-23 inch waist, 12 inch length
