Wow

Ok, I admit it,I'm a weather junky.Events are planned around the weather.Will I go in the Studio or outside? The quandry is greater as the prospect of warmer weather approaches...Garden or Studio? Add the fact that East Coast weather can't decide 29 degrees one day and 60 the next.I'm in the Studio hoping the crocus don't get as confused as I am!

Gratitude

A gentle "dusting" of snow may be picturesque,but somehow the Municipal Mandate for shoveling immediately following the end of the snowfall takes away the joy. The phrase "extended family" has special meaning on a day like today when I awoke to discover they shoveled before I arose.Thank you for the opportunity to stay in my pj's a little longer!

Surprise!

The world of the handmade artisan is,by its very nature,different.Planning seasonal shoppe offerings involves research and development well ahead of the time they appear in the marketplace. Imagine the surprise experienced by a first time cleaning crew,when they entered our studio to be greeted by mounds of handcut snowflakes while the temp outside hovered around 80 degrees.
