Handmade cards mean so much more to those that receive them. Sending handmade cards to people you care about makes them feel extra special and shows you are really thinking about them.

I make handmade cards just about every night to keep up with my hobby of sending cards. I started making a few extra for friends and family and the idea took off. I am involved in a Card Ministry at our church sending birthday and anniversary cards to every member of our church.
I love coordinating peoples personalities with a handmade card just for them. All my cards are personalized inside and out with stamps or cutouts. I stamp every envelope as well and include an extra envelope in every pack (for typos!)
I bundle up a set of birthday, get well, thank you and sympathy cards and carry them with me whereever I go for emergencies and quick gift ideas. I'm an official card nut but when you deal with numbers all day you need a break from accounting. Making cards gives me an opportunity to be creative and pass that creativity along.
