Numerology, an ancient way to decode your life.
Hi all and welcome to Spirit's blog. Today I would like to discuss Numerology and how your date of birth and birth name can give you insight into your life's journey.Numerology is an ancient Chaldean study that theorizes that numbers have a unique vibration. This vibration is found by assigning a number to each of the letters in your name, or by adding together the digits in your date of birth. Both equations are reduced to a single digit, the important numbers are 1 through 9, 11, and 22. Following will be a bit of information about the numbers that can be found in a reading and what they mean.
The Life Path number: A person's life path number is figured out by taking all the digits in one's date of birth adding and reducing. For example if you were born on March 28, 1983, you would do the following: 0+3+2+8+1+9+8+3= 34, then 3+4=7. Your life path number would be 7. The life path number tells you the purpose of your life, what your destiny is, and how to attain your destiny. The destiny or life path number tells you your strengths and weakness. Life path number 7 represents a very spiritual person with an underlying weakness in fears, this may be a fear of emotions, the unknown, or a fear of themselves and what they are truly capable of. Therefore the 7 generally has a life of learning, and casts away the fear through knowledge.
Next up we have the Soul Urge number. This time we will take the vowels in your birth name and assign numbers to them, add them all up and simplify to one digit except 11 and 22. For example if you were born John Smith it would be: 6+9=15, 1+5=6, the soul urge number is 6. The soul urge number represents how you achieve your life path. It gives insight into your deepest desires. Soul Urge number 6 represents a need for balance in the home or foundation of your life. These people tend to be very responsible and nurturing.
The final number I would like to talk about today is the Karmic number. This number tells you, the lessons that you are here to master in this lifetime. So for this number many use what is called an inclusion chart. For this number we figure out which number vibrations or energy are missing from your birth name. For example if your birth name is John Smith, we have J=1, O=6, H=8, N=5, S=1, M=4, I=9, T=2 and H=8. The missing numbers are 3 and 7, these are the Karmic Numbers. Lesson #3 and lesson #7, 3 is self esteem and self worth and 7 is understanding the difference between illusion and reality. To master these lessons, one may want to introspect on a regular basis, through meditation or other means of self care. Also they may want to always have a clear understanding of their surroundings.
These are the three most important numbers in a Numerology reading and in a sense make up who we are. Keep in mind though everyone's numbers are different and there are endless combinations of numbers, especially when you look into Karmic debt, Challenge numbers, and Pinnacles in addition to the numbers I explained above. Numerology helps pinpoint the life energy that drives us all.
