Hello, I’m Jessica Barnes. When I first began crocheting, I learned how to make hats and scarves first—and have mastered these items. I am an advanced hat and accessory maker in crochet.
The colors used in all JBCC illustrations not set-in-stone. Styles can be made in any color combination of your choice. Clients may also request item specialties, which are further explained further in this catalog.
Crocheting is very relaxing in nature, releases stress and is always cheaper than seeing a counselor (smile.) It is very portable and I'm totally in love with it.
Shipping Information
All online-ordered packages are sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS) with SIGNATURE delivery confirmation; to ensure customer satisfaction and that the item(s) reach clients in a safe and timely manner. The client receives a final email stating that the item is on its way; which will include the scanned USPS confirmation number.
Shipping and handling rates are as follows:
Hats, Scarves, Sets, and Large Items:
DOMESTIC: $4.50 per Item, $2.50 per Item with additional items orders
INTERNATIONAL: $8 per item, $6 per Item with additional items orders
Chilren's Items:
DOMESTIC: $3 per Item, $1.50 per Item with additional items orders
INTERNATIONAL: $6 per item, $4 per Item with additional items orders
Jewelry and Small Accessories—
DOMESTIC: $3 per Item, $1 per Item with additional items orders
INTERNATIONAL: $5 per item, $3 per Item with additional items orders
NOTE: JBCC checks SIGNATURE and delivery confirmation on the VERY RELIABLE online USPS tracking system. And, if it is confirmed that the item(s) were delivered and JBCC receives the signed slip, then delivery has been confirmed-PERIOD. However, in the event that the mailed item(s) come back as ‘return to sender’, JBCC will contact the client immediately and request an alternate mailing address—stating that for this second (2nd) attempt at delivery, postage must now be paid through a $6/Domestic and $10/International postage penalty; accompanied by a PayPal invoice to reflect the cost of that full postage.
In the extremely rare event that the delivery of the item cannot be confirmed and/or USPS loses the package, JBCC will remake a 'carbon copy of the item’. In addition to this, we will enclose a 20% off your next purchase total coupon as an apology.
Returns Policy
All JBCC stated prices and sales are final. The only exception to this is the pre-paid and OPTIONAL warranty agreement.
The prices in the examples below reflect those of the current Spring 2009 sale.
Warranty Agreement:
For an optional charge to the finalized order package, clients are provided with a damage or loss warranty. This warranty states that if the item is lost and/or faces any form of natural disaster (ripping, stains, and/or accidents with children art enthusiasm, etc.), the client may mail the damaged item back to JBCC and will receive a new ‘carbon copy’ of the original item with the same color and design pattern AT NO CHARGE. The client will only be responsible for the postage of sending the damaged item(s) back to JBCC. For all warranty claims, the ‘JBCC Item Replacement Warranty Form’ must be filled out. The reconstruction of the damaged good(s) and postage back to the client are totally covered in the warranty. In the case of a client deciding that instead of receiving a ‘carbon copy” of the original item that they would like to receive another item; they are totally responsible for full payment of the new item. Warranty coverage charges are final and depend upon the item purchased and the time period of the warranty. There is a limit of one (1) claim per item during the warranty time period.
Online clients are approached with ‘the warranty option’ upon purchasing their item(s.) If the client expresses interest, they would also receive the ‘JBCC Warranty Contract Form’; which must be completed and signed. Clients have the option of scanning and submitting their signed form electronically via email to jbcrochetcreationsnyc@yahoo.com and paying electronically via PayPal. Or, they may mail in the signed form with full payment to JBCC’s address.
Warranty and Replacement Steps:
• In the event that a client would like to file a warranty replacement claim, they would contact JBCC directly via email, jbcrochetcreationsnyc@yahoo.com, and request a ‘JBCC Item Replacement Warranty Claim Form.’ This form will then be attached in JBCC response email. Clients must print the form, fill it out, and send the form and, if applicable, the damaged item(s) back to JBCC.
• JB Creations then sends the client a confirmation of receipt email when the form and/or item is received and an approximation on when the replacement item(s) will be sent out. After completion, the client receives a second (2nd) and final email stating that the new item is on its way; which will include the scanned USPS confirmation slip.
Other Policies
All JBCC sales and prices are final. This website provides the clients with the option of online credit card payment through PayPal. JBCC WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION VIA EMAIL AT ALL. The PayPal method is 100% safe in that through PayPal, your personal information is confidential. JBCC would NEVER request nor have access to your credit card information.
Note, that in the event that a client has reviewed the JBCC catalog online and expresses a preference to pay through a mail-in money order, they would follow the same policies of mail-order clients; such as a ‘JBCC Order Contract and Invoice’ with a nine (9)-calendar day limit of payment. When payment is received, the client will receive an electronic ‘JBCC Payment Confirmation Form’ with the expected turnover date. If payment is not received by the 7th day, the client will receive a 2-day warning notification via email. If payment is still not received on the 9th calendar day, a ‘JBCC Notification of Halt on Items’ will be sent. If an online client does not respond within seven (7) calendar days with mailed-in payment (reflecting the 16th calendar day), the client receives the ‘JBCC Notification of Order Contract Cancellation’ form; confirming that the order is completely VOID.
Such a stern policy is in place because of the fact that JBCC ALWAYS begins work at the moment of the submission of an order contract and invoice and does not find it fair to complete items and never receive payment.
