Blonde, big eyed, and just brilliant in the sun, this mermaid is spun from that which shines. She had never been seen by any sailor, though she spends a great deal of time floating in the surf. It is because of her irridescent nature that she is camoflaged into the sun's reflection on the water. But if one happens to be in the crows nest, and the sun is covered but for a moment in clouds, one may see a purple tail flip just under a wave.
This is an original fantasy ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals~ 2.5" x 3.5"). I have drawn the mermaid in archival inks and oil pencils on a vintage book page. She is sealed with two coats of glossy varnish and initialled on the front. Full signature, title, and date are on the back. Backed with bristol for sturdiness.
