This is a stained acrylic-glass window. This is made on acrylic-glass, which looks just like glass, so you are able to hang this anywhere. You do not have to worry about the weight of the acrylic-glass. It is just as beautiful. The colors are just as spectacular as regular stained glass but the color doesn't fade. The textures are beautiful too. On the seahorse you can see scales and in the waves you can see the bubbles.
You don't have to worry about it falling down and shattering all over the place. Shipping is a lot less!!! It hangs by 2 clear suction cups, or you can get clear adhesive dots, so you don't have to look at an ugly chain. My creations are hand painted, then cured for 7 days. It is not a film on the acrylic-glass. After it cures,the paint and the plexy-glass become one. The measurement of this peice is 14 inches long and 11.5 inches wide. There is also a protective plastic film on the back of this window. You peel it off before you hang it in the window.
