This rustic set is not the face of history. It is not the jewelry of a chief wife or a warrior, but rather could have adorned any number of faceless people throughout the eras, slaves, concubines, hunters, craftsmen-- the people on whose backs the rich and powerful built their dreams. It's starkly beautiful. It is not gold or silver and it does not glisten. It is the flat gunmetal color of niobium and is suitable for the most sensitive ears. I handforged every link in the chain, the studs and the cuff-- all but the oxidized sterling silver backings. The studs are 5/16ths an inch (.5cm) in diameter and 1/2 an inch (1.2cm) long. The chain is 3 inches (7.5cm) long. Please allow slight differences do to the handmade nature of this item. Sent 1st Class.
