I've been meaning to make up a few anklets for far too long now and these bright beads just begged to be part of the process! These are recycled-glass Krobo beads. This style of bead is made for Soul of Somanya by Maja Stephen in the Krobo region of Ghana, West Africa. He uses traditional methods in producing the beads, grinding up the glass with a mortar and pestle, making his own oven and bead molds out of clay from a nearby village, and firing the beads with wood. I simply made a chain of brass to hold them around your ankle! --- glass brass goldfill clasp --- The secure spring ring clasp is gold fill-- if you'd rather have a handmade brass hook just let me know in notes to seller and I'll make the adjustment for you! --- 9 1/2 inches (24cm) I can shorten or lengthen this to your desired wrist/ankle size.
