Kaleidoscope: a continually changing pattern of shapes and colors. There are several sizes of tiny glass seed beads in at least 40 different colors and finishes in this bracelet. The cuff was worked with needle and thread in freeform peyote stitch then heavily embellished with shell, pearls, pressed and cane glass, color lined cubes and drops, sterling silver chain, crystal, brass, cat's eye fiber optic glass, wood, a carved snowflake obsidian sun and mother of pearl or shell butterfly. I used Nymo nylon thread conditioned with Thread Heaven to strengthen, weatherize and prevent fraying for years of wonderful wear. There is no backing on this piece. It isn't bead embroidery. It's a fabric mesh made of beads. The end result is stunning, a true work of art. This looks fantastic from every angle. The cuff measures 1 1/2 inches wide (4cm) and fits up to a 6 1/2 inch (16.5cm) wrist. This ultra-special piece of art will be shipped Priority Mail.
