You can find these little guys hiding in the grasses in the jungle.
I have had an obsession with faces for the last 40 years. I have drawn them, painted them, photographed them, and now I have them in metal. The ones that intrigue me most are the faces of many generations of my family members. These earrings are a composite of many years of working with familiar faces. This is what comes out when I close my eyes.
3/4” copper ovals that I have cut, then painted with liquid enamels. The liquid enamels are torch-fired and are a permanent part of the earrings. They are finished with seed beads and handmade sterling silver ear wires.
