Tropical Paradise is 19 inches (48cm) long and is made up of a random assortment of coral, carnelian and amber chips, Botswana agate, large freshwater pearls and mother of pearl. The accent beads are a beautifully patterned Egyptian silver, coral porcelain and copper dipped raku finished clay rectangles. Any of the 5 focals is worth a necklace all on it own, but I couldn't resist piling on the glory! There's a delightful depth of mango and light purple swirl in the lampwork bead from Joe at AvenueBeads. Next comes the awesome mottled keylime colored clay artist bead I found in a co-op years ago. LLDesigns' perfect sunris of white silk and lovingly draped in coral silvered ivory shards. A wonderful freeform chunk of amber in a delicate sun yellow. Lastly, comes the amazing dZi type bleach-patterned agate cylinder in two shades of rust. It's asymmetrical and finished with one of the thebeadedlily's signature handformed sterling toggle clasps.
