Why do we have sponsors?

You can sell items fee-free through ShopHandmade. Sponsors will pay all or part of the Listing fees during our beta program. This allows artists and crafters to keep all of the profits and to the open up shops without any cost or risk.

ADDICTED TO RUBBER STAMPS A million items in stock... the largest selection of art stamps, inks, embossing tools and paper crafts on the Internet! (This sponsor will pay 100% of all Listing Fees in all Handmade categories.)

ADDICTED TO SCRAPBOOKING World's largest scrapbooking store... carrying stickers, stencils, albums, papers, embellishments, and more! (This sponsor will pay 100% of all Listing Fees in all Handmade categories.)

ADDICTED TO CRAFTS A large selection of soft crafts in one store. Knitting, needle arts, sewing and quilting supplies, plus much more. (This sponsor will pay 50% of all Listing Fees in all Handmade categories.)

How Sponsorship Works:

Sponsors have volunteered to pay all or part of your listing fee. With 100% sponsorship the entire 25¢ fee is paid for you, and you can sell your item for free. With 50% sponsorship your cost is only 12¢ to list an item for sale. When you list an item you can choose if you want the listing to be sponsored or not--if you do you get the benefits offered by that sponsor.

Sometimes sponsors also will offer you additional incentives. You might get a discount off that sponsor's web site. We will inform you of those additional benefits in your Store or through our newsletters.
